Whistleblowing

We are committed to uncovering any form of misconduct within the organisation, enabling us to take the necessary corrective action.

We encourage all customers, suppliers, employees, and partners associated with Hallgruppen to report any such concerns if they become aware of them. To support this, we aim to ensure that all employees can report concerns internally, safely and without fear of retaliation.

All reports made under this policy will be considered legitimate whistleblowing, and will therefore be protected under the Norwegian Working Environment Act. Reports made to supervisory or public authorities will also be considered legitimate whistleblowing.

What can you raise a concern about?

Concerns may include, but are not limited to:

  • Health and safety violations
  • Corruption or other financial crimes
  • Unacceptable working conditions
  • Environmental or climate-related hazards
  • Abuse of authority
  • Breaches of data protection or privacy

This list contains examples only, and is not exhaustive.

Personal matters related solely to an employee’s own employment, such as dissatisfaction with salary, workload, task allocation, or interpersonal conflicts, will typically not be considered whistleblowing under this policy.

An exception may apply if such matters involve breaches of laws, internal policies, or widely accepted ethical standards, such as harassment.

When do you have a duty to report?

In some cases, you not only have the right but also a duty to report—such as when you witness harassment, discrimination, or any situation posing a risk to life or health.

How should you notify?

You can notify us using our Whistleblower Portal, which you can find here:

Whistleblower Portal

We encourage you to provide a clear and detailed description of the incident, along with any supporting documentation or examples.
